2 Days in LA

The Hubs and I went on a mini adventure to LA. We call it a surgication–a surgery vacation. My hubby was having surgery for a soccer injury. Before the surgery and between doctors visits, we had two days to enjoy some of the sights. We had lunch with our college pal who’s “in the business” and sat next to Adam Scott from the TV show Parks and Recreation. We had some interesting conversations with people in Venice Beach, walked around the Santa Monica Pier and found the Hollywood sign. We alternated between driving and being stuck on “The 10”, “The 405” and “The 90” and talked like the Saturday Night Live skit, The Californians, just to crack ourselves up.
