HOW TO ORDER A CUSTOM PIECE?
STEP 1
WHAT'S YOUR VISION?
Pick a style or inspiration piece from my shop, fiber art gallery or from my social media. What elements do you like? What colors are you thinking of? What size would work for you? See my sizing chart below. Once you are ready to share your vision, fill out the form below. Please note, that each piece is unique and will not be exactly like the inspiration piece you may have in mind.
STEP 2
DESIGN PROCESS, TIMELINE & PAYMENT
Once you have submitted your thoughts through the form, I'll get back to you via email and we'll discuss your ideas. I'll provide a quote based on your desired size, style and a timeline. Once we have agreed on a design, timeline and price, I will send you a link to pay in full.
For XXL weaving orders (32" wide or bigger) a 50% deposit is needed to secure your commission at this time. The remaining payment will be due when the piece is finished, along with calculated shipping costs.
STEP 3
A COLOR STORY CHOSEN & WEAVING BEGINS
Upon design approval and payment, I'll gather and send pictures of a color story of yarns and fibers for your approval. With your go-ahead, the weaving process starts.
STEP 4
FINAL APPROVAL & DELIVERY
After the piece is completed, I'll send you photos for final approval. We will discuss how you would like the piece delivered. If you are local to the Kansas City area, I'm more than happy to hand-deliver to you or arrange a local pick-up. If you are outside of the Kansas City area, I will ship your weaving to you. Medium, XMedium, Large and XLarge weaving sizes all ship for free. Wahoo!
