HOW TO ORDER A CUSTOM PIECE?
STEP 1
PICK A STYLE
Pick a style or inspiration piece from my shop, fiber art gallery or from my social media. What elements do you like? What colors are you thinking of? What size would work for you? See my sizing chart below. Once you are ready to share your vision, send me a message via EMAIL, INSTAGRAM or ETSY. Please note, that each piece is unique and will not be exactly like the inspiration piece you may have in mind. Also, I do not copy other artists' work.
STEP 2
QUOTE
Once you have submitted your thoughts, I'll get back to you and provide a quote based on your desired size, style and a timeline.
For Medium, XL Medium, Large and XLarge weaving orders, shipping is free.
For XXL weaving orders (32" wide or bigger) a 50% deposit is needed to secure your commission in the beginning. The remaining payment will be due when the piece is finished, along with calculated shipping costs sent via a link.
STEP 3
DESIGN PROCESS & PAYMENT
Once we have agreed on the design, timeline, and price, I will source supplies. When all supplies have been received, I'll send photos of a color story of yarns and fibers for your approval. With your go-ahead, the weaving process starts. After the piece is completed, I'll send you photos for final approval and a payment link.
STEP 4
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We will discuss how you would like the piece delivered. If you are local to the Kansas City area, I'm more than happy to hand-deliver to you or arrange a local pick-up. If you are outside of the Kansas City area, I will ship your weaving to you. Medium, XMedium, Large and XLarge weaving sizes all ship for free. Wahoo!
For XXL weaving orders (32" wide or bigger), your final payment is due before the piece will be delivered or shipped. I will send you a link for final payment which includes calculated shipping costs.
