Easy Flower Arranging Hack — Just in Time For Mother’s Day!

I consider myself a creative person. I love to make pretty things, and I’m not that bad at it. However, when my husband so thoughtfully gives me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, you know the ones like from Costco or the grocery store that you have to arrange in a vase yourself, I cringe. On the outside I’m smiling and saying thank you, but on the inside I’m screaming, “Nooooooooo, dear God, noooo!”

I suck at arranging flowers. I really have a true admiration for florists. They are true artists. They make it look so simple. In the past, when I’ve tried arranging flowers my arrangements either look like a kindergartener did it or something from a Dr. Seuss book.

Lucky for me, I have a friend who is a florist. Last time I visited her shop in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, she showed me a flower arranging hack that has changed my bouquets for the better! If you are ever in Steamboat Springs, you need to stop by her adorable shop, The Tall Tulip.

So what is this amazing hack? Using floral tape to make a grid at the top of your vase! The floral tape helps support the flowers to stay put and makes it easier to slide them in and out!

What you will need:
