Easy Breadcrumb Pasta
This is a simple recipe that first caught my eye off of Pinterest. It was posted by FamFriendsFood who origanlly saw it in Cooking Light and got it from {here}. I’m always looking for food my kids will eat and this fits the bill. I think of it as a healthier Ramen noodle recipe. You can use it as a side dish or add chicken and veggies to make a meal.
What you will need:
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta (I used Barilla Plus Angle Hair)
- 1 1/2 – 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons bread crumbs (Italian Style)
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
- Juice of 1 small lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook your pasta, drain and set aside in a bowl. I used Angel Hair pasta because it cooks so quickly.
2. Toss all other ingredients in with pasta. Taste test to see if you want to add more of the ingredients.
3. Enjoy!
