DIY Printable Cereal Valentines for School
Every year I make my youngest’s Valentines for his school party. My son LOVES cereal. I loved cereal when I was little too, but I was never allowed to have sugared cereal unless it was a special occasion. Well…Valentine’s Day school parties are a special occasion, right?!! I thought the little individual boxes of yummy, forbidden cereal would make fun Valentines to hand out this year. I was right. My son loved them and they were super easy to make. Now I hope we don’t eat all the cereal before the party!
What you will need:
- Printer
- Printer paper
- Scissors
- Individual cereal boxes (one for each student in the class)
- Scotch tape
- Ribbon
- Plastic spoons
- A happy heart!
Instructions:
1. Download these 8.5×11 PDF files {click on the pictures then save to your computer}:
2. Print at home onto printer paper. You could use colored paper, but I just used plain white.
3. Cut out your printable Valentine’s card labels.
4. Wrap the label around your Individual cereal box. Tap your label to the box to affix.
5. Using a ribbon, tie a plastic spoon to the side of the box.
6. Don’t forget to make one for each student and fill out the “to and from” section on the side of each one. Hand-out at your Valentine’s Day school party. The kids will be excited for breakfast the next day (if the cereal makes it that long) and their parents will be thankful for a non-candy treat!! Have a blast at your party!!
