Well, with these adorable mini gingerbread house kits, your kids, neighbors, teachers or friends, can make their own sweet, gingerbread houses in a jiffy. DIY Gingerbread House Kit in a Jar Labels

What you will need:


1. Print this FREE DIY Printable PDF {DIY Printable Gingerbread House Kit} on card stock and cut out the labels.

2. Attach the FRONT label to the front of your jar with glue dots, best invention ever!

3. Attach the BACK label (the directions) to the back on your jar with glue dots.

DIY Gingerbread House Kit in a Jar Instructions

What you will need:

  • Pint and a half mason jar
  • 12 graham cracker squares (enough to make 2 houses)
  • Assorted Small Candies (I used Candy Canes, M&Ms, Starburst and Twizzler Nibs)
  • Sandwich baggie
  • Tube of Icing 
  • Ribbon
  • A happy heart


1. Place 12 graham cracker squares (enough for 2 houses) into a baggie (making sure you get all the air out of the baggie). Place gently into your jar. 

2. Next, sprinkle in your candy and screw the lid on your jar tight. 

3. Wrap a ribbon around the jar and the icing tube to secure the icing tube to the jar.

DIY Gingerbread House Kit Building Instructions

1. Using icing, attached 4 graham crackers together to make the walls of the house, and 2 graham crackers for the roof. This can be tricky, so take your time and let the icing dry before you decorate it.

2. Next, decorate the house with candy using icing to secure candy to the house.

3. Be creative and don’t sweat it if your house falls down. You will just get to eat it sooner!
