BARRE WITH BECCA: 10 MINUTE STANDING ABS WITH WEIGHTS

Who doesn’t love not laying down on a mat for abs? ME!!!!! This is a great standing ab workout that only takes 10 minutes! Now, don’t think this isn’t easy. Your heart will be pumping with some cardio spurts while you work on those abs and break a sweat. Feel free to do 1 or 2 more rounds to make this a longer workout. The workout includes a quick warm-up and stretch at the end. You will need 2-5 lb. hand weights (I used 5 lbs). You can always drop the weights or grab heavier too make it harder. Have fun!!

What you need:

  • No bar needed
  • 2-5 lbs weights (I used 5 lbs.)
  • Water
  • Shoes are optional
  • A smile!!

2. Standing Abs with Weights

  • Knee Pulls (16x each side)
  • Plie Twists (16x)
  • Plie Twists with Extended Arms (16x)
  • Curtsy + Oblique with Knee (16x each side)
  • Plie Obliques (16x)
  • Plie Obliques Deeper (16x)
  • Plie Obliques Pulse (8x each side)
  • Plie Obliques Alternating Side to Side (16x)
